Catan on Xbox 360

I was really intrigued at first, but then I remembered that the entire point of board games is twofold:

1) Geeky pleasure with friends over a gameboard.

2) Tactile bits.

3) Trash-talking and tactics take on a more fun tone face-to-face rather than over the internets.

Color me "curmudgeonly old coot".

you are total right. i mean, catan is actually kind of boring anyway. but if you are say.. drinking and trash talking it is the best.

I'm guessing on xbox you can at least do xbox live, so the trash talking is at least there.
